Douglas Powell, PhD is a Director Scientific Engagement at Crown Biosciene and is located in Cambridge, MA. With over 25 years industry experience in Preclinical Drug development, his role is to work with scientists in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry to design the best in vitro and in vivo IND-enabling studies with small molecules and immunotherapeutics. Dr. Powell began his research career at the NIH, NIAID, Laboratory of Immunoregulation reporting to Dr, Anthony Fauci. Dr. Powell earned a BS in Microbiology at the University of Maryland and a PhD in Genetics at the George Washington University.
