Kuan Yan, PhD

Dr. Kuan Yan joined the Data Science and Bioinformatics division of Crown Bioscience as a Senior Principal Scientist in 2022. He holds a PhD and M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Leiden University, Netherlands. With over 60 articles published across his early career, Dr. Yan went on to cofound OcellO B.V. and served as director and CIO for 10 years. His research interests include machine learning, high-content image processing, artificial intelligence, omics data modeling, and high-performance computing architectures.
